Yeast Infection No More Reviewed

This Yeast Infection Test questionnaire was originally employed and developed by Dr. William G. Crook.

The candida questionnaire aims to determine whether candida COULD be a factor contributing to your ill health. It does this with a series of questions taking into account your personal history and your present symptoms. The candida questionnaire is designed for adults and should not be used by children under 12.For each "Yes" answer in Section A, circle the point score in that section. Record your total score in the box at the end of the section. Then move on to Sections B and C and score as directed.

Filling out and scoring this candida questionnaire should help you and your doctor evaluate the possible role of Candida in contributing to your health problems. Yet it will not provide an automatic "Yes" or "No" answer.

Symptoms of a Yeast Infection – Discover How It Can Give You a Hangover!

In this article we’ll take a look at the symptoms of a yeast infection and yes it can give you a hangover. First we’ll take a look at what a yeast infection is and then the symptoms of this infection.

But for now let’s have some surprising news, the symptoms that develop from an infection are well known to over 75% of women who will contract it at some point in their lives. Yes most women in the developed world will contract this type of infection. Don’t feel left out men, you can get it too.

What is a yeast infection

Candida is a type of yeast which is normally present in our bodies and does a good job of controlling bad bacteria for us in our gut. In its everyday form the yeast produces small amounts of alcohol that the body efficiently disposes of through its detoxification system.

The yeast itself is kept in check by other friendly bacteria and our own immune system.

When any of these controls break down the yeast can over grow.

Yeast Growth and Poisoning

With ever increasing amounts of yeast in the gut it starts to produce alcohol in amounts that the body cannot cope with. To name them they are, ethanol and acetaldehyde. The latter is responsible for creating hangover symptoms.

So with an increase of yeast more unwanted chemicals are free to enter the bloodstream.

In addition, if the candida is unhindered by good bacteria or the immune system, the yeast is free to convert from a single yeast cell structure to a multi cellular fungus.

Fungal Problems

When yeast converts to fungus it develops tentacle- like offshoots, called hyphae, that have the ability to penetrate intestinal walls. The holes it creates there can allow more toxins form the gut to enter the bloodstream.

If the holes become large enough then the fungus cells will be able to get through and enter the bloodstream allowing them access to the rest of the body. This is where the serious problems start.

This migration could induce autoimmune diseases or chronic allergies.

Research has shown that response by the body to some airborne molds is increased by the presence of intestinal candida (ref Infect Immun. 2004 Sep;72(9):4996-5003. Role of antibiotics and fungal microbiota in driving pulmonary allergic responses).

Other research has also shown a link between intestinal candida and Celeriac disease (ref Klin Lab Diagn. 2004 Nov;(11):11-3. [Circulating immune complexes in the diagnosis of allergic reactions of the immune-complex type).

Symptoms of a Yeast Infection

So if you’ve had high levels of candida in your gut for an extended period, then you’ve been getting a larger amount of alcohol than normal drip fed into your body over time. You may be having symptoms like those below that have to date been unexplained

Fatigue

Aching joints

Headaches

Depression, anxiety, irritability, mood swings
